Let the festivities begin... September 30th through October 10 is Vienna Design Week, and I WISH I was THERE! It looks like it's going to be awesome.

This is the fifth year in a row the city hosts the event. Poland is a guest country and will be exhibiting throughout the week as well. 

The Mission of Vienna Design Week: 

Design has been and is an important field in the production of culture: it shapes our material culture, our everyday life and our consumer world, it influences our lifestyles and fashions and most fundamentally our aesthetic sense and judgements. This wide-ranging impact is a reason to both celebrate design and to examine it critically.

p.s. Vienna is an amazing city-- one of my all time favorites. I love everything about Vienna. Its seasons, coffee culture, Christmas markets, schnitzel, art scene, trams, konditorei, and all the in betweens...
